New Algo 8186 SIP Paging Speaker

The Algo 8186 SIP IP Loud Ringer and Paging Speaker features multiple SIP extensions for voice paging and notification capability (50 page zones) or direct extension paging by registration. Extensions can be registered with most any premise or hosted Communication Server supporting 3rd party SIP endpoints independent of a telephone (no IP telephone is required).

With Multicast Support, the device can receive or broadcast to multiple devices. The wideband G.722 codec support provides optimum speech clarity and intelligibility in an HD Voice environment, making voice paging and notification announcements easier to understand, particularly in noisy environments. An emergency alerts feature is also available by extension.

To add extra functionality, consider combining the Algo 8186 SIP IP Loud Ringer with the Algo 1202 or Algo 1203 illuminated call button. The recommended installer should be familiar with configuring and programming Voice over IP devices via a web-based graphical user interface.

For installation, connect the device to a 2 Gang Electrical Box (not included) using the supplied gasket for weatherproof outdoor installation. Note that Power over Ethernet is required; if PoE is not available, use a PoE Injector. The device does not support direct power connection – it's PoE Only. Refer to the manufacturer's website for specifications, new features, and required firmware updates. A basic understanding of computer networking and Voice over IP experience is recommended.
